Microsoft Outlook Express 4 eMail Please see our Important Notice, we recommend that you read it before you proceed. Setting up an Email Account.
Click on Tools.
Click on Accounts.
Click on the Mail tab, this should be empty as the screen shot above.
Click on the Add button and then the Mail option.
Type your full name into the text box and click Next.
Type your email address into the text box in the form: See our Names & Password Conventions guide. Click Next.
Type in the email server addresses.
In the text box marked POP account name type your Demon hostname. See our Names & Password Conventions guide. Click Next.
In here type a name for the account, we suggest Demon Internet Mail, but it can be anything you want here.
Click Connect using my phone line, and in the drop down list select the our Dial-up Networking connection. Click Next.
That completes the mail setup for Outlook Express.
At this point, if you are not using a domain name, you can click Close and test your new account by clicking on Send and Receive, If you have registered a domain name, make sure the Demon account is highlighted and click Properties.
Your Domain Email address should be the email address you want replies sent to. You only need to enter an address here if the reply to address is different to the email address in the field above, if it is the same address you can leave this field blank.
