Macintosh Outlook Express 4 eMail ( Note: This software is not supported by the Demon Helpdesk ). Please see our Important Notice, we recommend that you read it before you proceed. To start, load Outlook Express and click on Edit on the menu bar and select Preferences.
Add a New Email Account:
Select New Account.
Click on OK. You will then be required to fill in the following details.
Full Name: This can be anything you wish - it is how your name will appear on emails that you send. We will now look at how to edit an email account in Outlook Express. In the Preferences box select the account you wish to edit from the Mail Account window.
Replace the existing details with those shown above. To conclude the editing of the account, click on the OK button. Further information: In all email clients there are other fields that are useful, for instance: Reply to address: This can be used to have replies to your emails sent to the email address with Generally the reply to address is your default email address. Display name: This is the name that appears on emails when you send them.
