How to setup and connect to Mac OSX PPP Please see our Important Notice, we recommend that you read it before you proceed. In the Domain Name Servers dialog box enter the following: 158.152.1.58 158.152.1.43 Next, in the Search Domains dialog box enter: Demon.co.uk 3. Click PPP.
Under the Service provider section enter Demon Internet Ltd Standard Dial up and Premier Connect Plus customers can see our Access Numbers guide for a complete list covering BT and non-BT lines. In the alternate telephone text box enter an alternative telephone number. See our Names & Password Conventions guide. And finally, enter your logon password in the password field. If you do not wish to enter your password each time you log on, then tick the Remember password check box. 4. Click PPP Options.
Check the following check boxes, Under the Session options heading: Connect automatically.... 5. Click Ok, Click Proxies.
Enter www-cache.demon.co.uk in the following sections: ftp proxy, gopher proxy and web proxy. 6. Click Modem.
Check your preferred settings. Click Save. Once set up as above, you will be able to open the internet connection from any TCP application.
