Password changing and configuration
Please see our Important Notice, we recommend that you read it before you proceed.
This is where you can set up or change a POP3 Password, change your Login password or Login configuration details
Enter this URL into the address bar of your browser:
http://www.password.uk.demon.net and click Go.
Or, you can get the secure version directly by typing https://www.password.uk.demon.net
Alternatively, click here.
You will then see in your web browser a similar screen to the screen shot below.

If you have a browser that can view secure pages, clicking on the secure version is recommended.
If not, click on the insecure version

Enter your Hostname and Login Password.
Click Sign In.
At this point you can change your Login Password; just enter your new password in the New Password box and in the Confirm Password box.
Now click Apply and Exit or Apply, the second option will allow you to remain logged in.
From here you can also set up or change your POP3 password.
Simply click on the Mail button at the top.

At this point you can enable/disable SMTP or POP3 mail; enable/disable them by ticking/unticking the relevant box.
For more information on the Anti-spam option please click here, or click on the available links on the left hand side of the webpage.
You can also set up your POP3 password by entering your password in the New Password box and also in the Confirm Password box.
Then click Apply and Exit or Apply. The second option will allow you to remain in this section.

At this point you can change your Idle Timeout. This option sets the amount of seconds after which the session is automatically disconnected if there is no activity on the line, (You should be able to see it in the top righthand corner of your browser). This setting is not supported, and at times may not have any effect.
It is also possible to enable/disable VJ Header Compression.

The final option is setting the Link Compression.
There is no need to logout when you are finished. You can immediately start browsing again, or shut down your browser.
Remember to apply any changes before leaving the webpage.
