Creating Favourites:

Favourites can save specific telnet sessions so you don't have to type in the details every time you want to access a remote machine.

There are also other configurations you may need to set which are individual to the remote machine such as the port number to telnet to.

To create your favourites, go to Favourites and Edit Favourites...

[ Edit Favourites window ]

Selecting New will open a window with 6 tabs across the top.

[ Edit Favourites window - General Options]

The General tab holds the main information for connecting to a remote machine, these are its address or Host Name, and the port number.

Take a look at the other tabs to configure other settings for this connection.

When you are finished, click OK, the favourite will be appended to the favourites list.

To access a remote machine that has been set up through favourites, click the Favourites option on the top menu and you will be given a list of entries, click on the entry required to start the Telnet session.
