Golive 6 FTP (Macintosh)

To upload and download your files using GoLive ftp, follow the steps below.

[ FTP Browser ]

Go to File > Ftp Browser.

[ Available Servers ]

Click on the Add Server button.

[ Add Server ]

Nickname : Give the server account a friendly name.
Server : Enter the server address, i.e. hompages.demon.co.uk.
Directory : Enter a directory to upload your files to, optional.
Username : Enter your demon hostname. (hostnames are all lower case).
Password : Tick the box marked save.

Then enter your demon logon password. (passwords are case sensitive).
Click Ok.

If you have several servers listed, highlight the server you want to upload to.
Click Connect.

Once connected you will see a listing of all the files within the directory. To upload files, highlight them on your local machine and drag and drop them onto the ftp browser window. To download files, highlight them on the ftp browser and drag and drop them into a directory on your local machine. When you have finished upload and downloading files click Disconnect.
