Speed

Demons Super Showroom connection provides 128Kbps in BOTH directions. That means that you can transfer email or large files to others at up to four times the speed of an average MODEM.

Contention

To ensure that you always get a connection when you need one Demon's Super Showroom aims to maintain a 1:1 contention ration between our customers MODEMs and our access servers.

Web Space

You are provided with a Showroom account. Not only does this give you a domain name and registration, but also gives 20Mb of fully commercial web space which allows full CGI scripting.

Email

You may receive or request email through either SMTP or POP3. In the event that your SMTP server is unavailable, Demon will hold any mail destined for you for a period of up to eight days. Any mail held by us will be forwarded onto you once your server is available again.

Dfax (fax to email)

Demon Internet has introduced a service d-fax, which allows faxes you receive to be delivered to an email addressee. With this service, you would be allocated two fax numbers that you can publish just like any other telephone number. Fax messages arrive in an email format and are forwarded to you over the Internet. You can pick them up as email from anywhere around the world. This saves you the cost of another phone line, rental and fax machine.

IP Address Assignment

If you buy a router from Demon you can have it configured as either NAT or non-NAT. You can also request an IP assignment of 4, 8 or 16 IP addresses. (Please be aware that useable IP addresses would be 1, 5 or 13 respectively.)
