Poll places Demon as "Provider of the year"

Demon, part of Thus, has been named Provider of the Year 1999/2000 by readers of Net Magazine in the Netherlands for the second year running.

Net Magazine is the Netherlands' leading Internet magazine. The results featured in the magazine's NedRidder section, which published a host of reader plaudits for the Demon service.

  • Demon Internet should be Provider of the Year. Recently it has become possible to send and receive faxes via your email address... not to mention unlimited e-mail addresses, a fixed IP address, a 20MB homepage etc, etc. That's why I give Demon a 10! - Dave Mertens
  • My compliments to Demon Internet. It's the Rolls Royce of providers. I have been with Demon for more than two years and never had a problem - Louise Garofalo

"This is a well-deserved award for Demon people in the Netherlands, who have worked hard to ensure our customers receive quality service and products. As the most experienced and customer-focused ISP in the country, Demon is very happy to receive this accolade from the readers of such a prestigious magazine" said Chris Willis, General Manager, Demon Netherlands.

This award comes as a further success for Demon who were voted the second best ISP on the Planet in 1999 by the UK's Internet Magazine and are currently the UK's most popular web hosting company, as compiled by Netcraft.
